This busy salon needed additional seating, better storage, and a refreshed aesthetic to support a growing client base. The aim was to create a bright, modern, and highly functional space, with a thoughtful approach to salon interior design.

The Ask

Add seating, improve salon storage, upgrade tired colour and wash stations, and introduce product display areas that don’t clutter up floor space, all while refreshing the overall look and feel.

The Challenge

The salon needed to accommodate more clients without feeling crowded and offer significantly more storage and display space for products.  The challenge was to introduce bespoke furniture, refined finishes, and lighting that improved both function and atmosphere.

“Working with Fiona was amazing. I run a very busy salon, and I needed extra space and storage. The standard and quality were 100%. Fiona did everything for me so I could continue working. The new space is beautiful. And clients love it. Having extra storage and using dead space is fabulous, making everything nice and neat. Just what I like nothing lying around. The workmen that Fiona uses are also fantastic. Both painters and builders. Brian and Bruce both worked Sundays to get the jobs done so my salon didn't have to shut. Just all-round fantastic experience from start to finish. Love team LK

Our Solution

A bespoke freestanding colour bar added six additional seats. Floor‑to‑ceiling cabinetry created generous storage for products, while wall‑mounted magazine racks and up‑lit display shelving improved functionality. Brushed bronze finishes, statement lighting and high-impact mirrors elevated the aesthetic to feel modern and luxurious. The finished salon is bright, stylish and highly functional, enhancing both client experience and day‑to‑day workflow.

If this project has got you thinking about what could be possible in your own space, we’d love to hear your ideas.
