Grayson began by designing kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, but Fiona’s approach soon evolved to encompass much more. Today, the studio works across complete homes and retail environments, combining intelligent spatial planning with creative interior design to create spaces with purpose, personality, and individuality.
Whatever the scale of the project, the approach remains personal and collaborative. We take time to understand what matters to each client, bringing together the right ideas, insight, and people to develop a design that feels unique to them.
A lifelong passion for design
Design has always been more than an interest for founder Fiona Sneddon. Alongside a successful twenty-five-year career in marketing, she developed her passion by renovating homes, redesigning interiors and helping family and friends transform their spaces.
Throughout her career, Fiona developed skills in communication, project management and collaboration that are now central to the way Grayson works.
Combined with years of hands-on renovation experience and a passion for interior design, those skills have shaped a studio that values thoughtful planning, clear communication and exceptional client experience just as much as creative expression.
Grayson was established to bring those strengths together. Named after Fiona's two sons, Gregor and Murray, the studio was built on the belief that every project should begin by understanding the people who will use the space, creating environments that are as individual as they are functional.
In design, no two projects are the same, but at Graysons, every client relationship is built on the same principles.

The best ideas come from working together. Creativity, experience, and fresh thinking are part of every project, but we’re never precious about our ideas. What matters is creating a space that feels right for you, not one that reflects what we think you should want. We may create the design, but it will always belong to you.

Good communication matters just as much as good ideas. From the first conversation through to completion, we keep things clear, open and straightforward, so you understand what’s happening, why decisions are being made and what comes next. The aim is to make the whole process feel manageable, collaborative and enjoyable.
Detail Has Purpose
