  • For kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, the design process usually takes around four weeks from start to finish, but can vary based on the needs of the project.

  • No, we bring everything to you. Samples, finishes, visuals, and VR are all presented in your home so the design is tailored to your space and lighting.

  • We adapt to whatever works best for you, in person, by phone, email, or via messages. Clear, open communication is central to how we prefer to work.

  • That’s entirely up to you. Some clients enjoy being hands on and chatting to the trades teams, while others prefer to step back and let us take care of everything. Your input is essential during design development to ensure the final result reflects your lifestyle and priorities but after that, it’s up to you.

  • Your design is presented in person and includes:

    • technical drawings

    • 3D visuals

  • Yes, if your project involves structural changes, we can introduce you to an architect and structural engineer or work with one you’ve appointed. Bringing the design team together early helps avoid delays and redesigns later on.

Projects, Deliveries, and Practicalities

  • Installation times vary, but as a guide:

    • Kitchens: 4-8 weeks

    • Bedrooms: 2-3 weeks

    • Bathrooms: 2-4 weeks

    This does not include design time, product lead times or trade scheduling.

  • If we’re managing your project, we take care of:

    • ordering all products

    • arranging deliveries at suitable times

    • being on site to receive and check items

    • ensuring everything arrives as expected and in perfect condition

    If you’re managing your own installation, we provide all drawings, specifications and product details your trades need.

  • If we’re managing your project, we coordinate trades, oversee progress and ensure everything is delivered and fitted exactly as planned.

    If you’re managing your own installation, your trades are responsible for installation, and we provide full design documentation.

  • Yes, all project include:

    • manufacturer warranties on products

    • ongoing aftercare support from us

    Before installation begins, the space must be prepared and accessible. This may include clearing the room and emptying existing cupboards and storage. Depending on who’s doing the work, it may also require plumbing, electrical or structural work. These requirements will be discussed and agreed between you and ourselves in advance so everyone’s clear on their responsibilities.

    Accurate information
    If you are providing your own measurements or using your own trades, accuracy is essential to avoid delays, changes or unnecessary costs.

    Timely decisions
    Some products have long lead times, so prompt decisions help keep your project on schedule.

    Communication
    If anything changes, your timeline, your plans or your space, please let us know as soon as possible.

Costs and Getting Started

  • Grayson’s fees are based on the size of the space and scope of the project overall

    During your Discovery Call we’ll be able to guide you on the design fee for your project.

  • Yes, reasonable design development and revisions are included. If major changes are requested or the brief changes significantly, we’ll always discuss any associated charged with you in advance.

  • Yes, we offer bespoke packages for multi-room designs, tailored to the overall scope of your project.

  • Yes, before we begin your renovation you’ll receive a detailed pricing breakdown and terms and conditions which both parties sign.
